  • In March 2023, Ingredion Incorporated launched the FIBERTEX CF 102 and FIBERTEX CF 502 citrus fibers in the U.S., thus expanding its portfolio of clean-label functional ingredients with texturizers made from citrus fruit peels.
  • In August 2023, Kemin Industries opened a new manufacturing facility in Verona, Missouri, for its Proteus line of clean-label functional proteins. They are used to enable higher volumes of better-quality poultry and meat products. 
  • In August 2023, Vantage Food launched SIMPLY KAKE emulsifier, a substitute for conventional baking ingredients designed to support the clean-label initiatives of food manufacturers, while attaining lighter, taller, and more evenly baked confectionery products.
  • In September 2022, Cargill introduced a soluble corn fiber ingredient, while Kemin Industries launched Shield Pure, a mold inhibitor that can replace synthetic alternatives.
  • In March 2020, DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences announced the launch of the DuPont POWERBake 6000 and 7000 enzyme series, especially developed for European recipes. The enzymes help maintain the quality and taste of buns and white breads, while catering to the demands of customers for clean-label food.
